CEO Fran played football in the NFL for 18 years and was inducted into the National Football Hall of Fame. He is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the country, having launched 15 companies in the past 40 years valued from $1 million to $142 million in revenue. Included in this list is the first payroll deduction guaranteed issue life insurance through Cannon Mills with 26,000 families covered by National Life and Accident. Fran has the unique ability to take innovative ideas and identify effective and efficient ways to bring them to market. His extensive expertise in sales, direct marketing, and Web-based marketing has enabled him to advise and counsel businesses about new opportunities in fast-changing environments. As a Certified Senior Advisor and Licensed Insurance Counselor, he custom designs plans to meet the specific needs of each client. Gene has served as an expert witness in court regarding insurance issues and he was featured on the Neal Boortz radio show. He is also the author of "Consumers Guide to Insurance and Financial Security." Gene conducts seminars in the Atlanta area, supports our agents as an Account Manager, Product Support Specialist, and the Program Coordinator for Life Insurance. |
Chris Barnes

At Tarkenton Financial, he manages most of the operations related to contracting, product support, marketing and account management. Matt leads our monthly training sessions and conducts senior seminars on a quarterly basis. Matt is securities and insurance licensed and is also the co-author of The Real Truth About Annuities. Previously, Matt worked in wealth management with Wilmington Trust and investment banking with JPMorgan, The Robinson-Humphrey Company and Alex. Brown & Sons. Matt has an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In the community, Matt serves on the boards of Special Olympics Georgia and Inner Harbour. Matt and his wife Jeannie, who writes the Senior Pathways newsletter, have three children, Anna, Peter, and Robert. |
